Should I continue work on UO Robot?

I think you should. I have been checking back at uorobot.com for anything new for a long time. I have been looking forward to a new version or having the Trial License link work again.

I would be very interested in using uo Robot and would have no problem paying for it if it does indeed work as advertised. I know of several friends that would purchase it as well if it became available.

The other thing you have to remember is that UORobot has been dead for some time and so many people arent checking your websight with any frequency. Once word got out that it was back, I think you would have a tremendous response. Just pop over to powergamers.com or castleblackthorn.com and read the message boards. There is a huge market for really good and really advanced macro programs that can offer much more than uo autopilot can.

Thanks for the info. I'm really "out of the loop" when it comes to Ultima Online, because I don't play it anymore.
Wintland, do you have an account on that their message boards? Could you post something there telling people about this thread and to sound off *here* if they are interested in UO Robot?

Actually Eeasy UO is far superior to UORobot. UObot was limited to inscription only. Anything is possible with Easy UO.
P.S It is free too!

Wow, you weren't kidding!
It looks like they have implemented exactly what I was planning to do with the next version of UO Robot. They obviously have scripting, and apparently pretty advanced Bitmap searching features.
Do they have access to the journal like UO Robot did? I couldn't tell from a quick scan of the site.

Yes, please continue work, i am waiting to buy a full version. If you have any prototypes, id be happy to buy it and pay for upgrades too. I enjoy Ultima but i work alot so i dont get much time to play. UO robot sounds great. Thank you. contact me at coxx16@aol.com

You may not be getting much of a response here because your message board is a pain in the ass to sign-up on and is very unintuitive. But I went through all the hoops just to get on here and tell you... PLEASE keep working!

Thanks for the feedback, I may update it if I have the time.
Just curious, what did you find confusing with the message board, anything that could be fixed easily? I thought its registration process was pretty similar to other message boards.

When it emails you the password, and you enter in your username and the emailed password it just takes you to the sign up page... It logs you in... but it takes you to the sign up page. It took me a few tries before I realized it was logging me in, I thought it was rejecting my password and was determining that I needed to sign-up.

That's definitely a bug. Thanks, I need to fix that.
So if after logging in the first time it took you to the main page, it would be OK then?

YES!!!!! You should!!!! I want to buy it and use it, but your link to get a trial key is broken, also. I would appreciate it greatly if you would continue work on UO Robot and I would buy it.

hehe, I'm always amazed to see that people are still playing Ultima Online. It seems like *so* long ago that I played that game. ;) It came out in Sept 1997, and I probably played it for a year or so.
I just may dust off UO Robot one of these days. I bought the Blackthorns Revenge add-on, have to get around to installing it one of these days.

ben...could u fix ur link to get a trial license key? ive downloaded uorobot2 but i cant get trial beta key thing from the "download" secton of your website....you really should dust off uo robot and continue work on it.....if the features you talk about really work, i would definately buy it...id like to try out the trial thing first though\

Yes you should! I am ready to buy it as soon as it's available. H@ll, I'd even buy it without the free trial, although the free trial would be really nice. Matter of fact, I'd buy it and my real life UO friends would all buy it right after I use it and tell them how it would solve all of our problems. (That's at the very least 4 sales from this reply).
Dust it off, polish it up, I'm ready...now there's just a small question of cash, check or charge??
